LEGAL DEPARTMENT

The Legal Department reports directly to the Director General of the H.S.G.M.E. and is responsible for the legal representation and handling of all legal matters arising from the Authority’s activities. Specifically, it provides legal advice and opinions, conducts legal review of project, procurement, and service tender notices and contracts, represents the Authority before courts and administrative bodies in pre-trial and appeal procedures, and assigns cases and legal work that cannot be carried out by its staff to external collaborating lawyers.

Within the Legal Department operates the Litigation Section, headed by a lawyer appointed by decision of the Board of Directors, responsible for managing the Authority’s legal cases.
