On Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at the offices of the Hellenic Authority for Geological and Mineral Research (H.S.G.M.E.), a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between EAGME and the “Kotsiomytis Museum of Natural History,” based in Lygourio, Municipality of Epidaurus, Argolis, by Mr. Dionysios Goutis – General Director of EAGME, and Mr. Vasileios Kotsiomytis – President of the Museum’s Board of Directors.
The collaboration between the two parties will promote and support joint actions for the enhancement and development of the “Kotsiomytis Museum of Natural History,” as well as for the promotion and utilization of the geological heritage of the Epidaurus–Argolis region.
EAGME will promote its scientific and social mission and will be featured as a supporter of the “Kotsiomytis Museum of Natural History” in the respective projects and activities in accordance with the Memorandum of Cooperation.
It will also contribute to fostering close collaboration between the “National Geological Museum” and the “Kotsiomytis Museum of Natural History” on museological, museographic, and educational matters and/or programs.
