EuroGeoSurveys (EGS – The Association of the Geological Surveys Organizations of Europe) is an international non-profit association comprising 37 National Geological Surveys and Institutes. For over 50 years, it has promoted collaboration among Europe’s leading geoscientific institutions.
EuroGeoSurveys jointly addresses European issues in the field of geosciences and collaborates on projects that directly inform EU, regional, and national policies for the benefit of all European citizens. Its core mission is to highlight and promote the contribution of geosciences to Europe’s sustainable development.
EAGME (formerly IGME) is a founding member of EuroGeoSurveys and plays an active role at all levels of activity and engagement, contributing to the development and implementation of European policies focused on the geoscientific environment.
