The Hellenic Survey of Geology and Mineral Exploration (H.S.G.M.E.) announces its intention to conclude Project Lease Contracts (PLCs) with a total of seven (7) individuals to meet the needs of H.S.G.M.E. within the framework of the project entitled “Grant to HSGME for studies and technical consulting on the ‘Remediation and Restoration of Contaminated Areas at the Inactive Kirkis Mine’ [KIRKAP1],” with OPS code 6017296, under the “Environment and Climate Change 2021–2027” Programme.
The duration of each contract will be twelve (12) months, with the possibility of renewal until the completion of the project. All individuals hired will work under the supervision and direction of H.S.G.M.E., headquartered in Acharnes, Attica, Spyrou Loui 1, Olympic Village, P.C. 13677. The results of their work will be the property of H.S.G.M.E.
The requested specialties are as follows:
- Geologist (BSc) specialized in Hydrogeology – 1 position
- Geologist (BSc) specialized in Environmental Geochemistry – 1 position
- Geographer (BSc) specialized in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spatial database creation, and web-based online measurement applications – 1 position
- Geologist (BSc) specialized in Engineering Geology or Geological Mapping – 1 position
- Economist (BSc) specialized in Accounting and Finance – 1 position
- Environmental Technologist (MSc/Technological Education) for the preparation and standardization of geochemical samples – 1 position
- Geologist (BSc) specialized in Mineralogy–Mineral Chemistry (XRD, XRF) – 1 position
