The physical scope of the project includes engineering–geological surveys in cases of severe destructive phenomena (landslides, earthquakes, ground subsidences, etc.). These surveys involve recording the phenomena, assessing their impacts and future behavior, and providing initial guidance for their proper management and the limitation of further consequences.
Purpose – Expected Results:
Through the operation of the Immediate Response Team, the HSGME ensures rapid deployment to affected areas, often preventing the expansion of the phenomena and providing the first instructions to minimize their impacts as much as possible.
