MUSEUM.
The new Museum of Minerals and Rocks of H.S.G.M.E. was established in September 2008. Its exhibition halls host specimens from the Institute’s older museum collections, which have since been enriched with new donations from H.S.G.M.E. geologists.
LIBRARY.
The H.S.G.M.E. Library is among the largest scientifically specialized libraries in Greece.
It is one of the most up-to-date in the geosciences and currently holds:
- More than 12,000 books
- Over 11,000 studies
- Approximately 4,500 maps
